Plantation grown Basswood (tilia americana), has become one of the most widely used materials for shutters and timber blinds in the global market. Types of Shutters
Hinged Shutters
Hinged Shutters account for the majority of shutters ordered, and are most commonly used in windows and narrow doorways. In most cases hinged shutters can fold back onto the wall leaving no intrusion into the room, whilst still providing an open clear view.

Bifolding Shutters
Bifold Shutters allow an almost unobtruded view through the window when pulled back, making them a favourite when trying to make the most of what the outdoors has to offer.
Bifolds are generally used over doorways, with up to 8 panels being used on a single opening. They are also ideal as room dividers and robe and pantry doors.
